External Communications Manager Ontex

In this role, you will be responsible for shaping, strengthening and safeguarding Ontex’s corporate reputation. You will develop and execute an effective and compelling communications strategy that amplifies our positive growth story and highlights our expertise
and efforts in sustainable innovation. As a sparring partner for our management and business partner for our teams in Europe and North America, you will lead communication projects that create enthusiasm among our most important target groups: customers and business partners, investors and (potential) employees.

Main responsibilities

• Strategic Communication: Develop and implement a communication plan that
  reinforces our brand and strategy.
• Content & social media: create inspiring content across all external communications
  channels and develop (social) media campaigns that have an impact on our target
  groups.
• Public Relations: Build relationships with the media, create compelling content, lead
  press events and manage communications in times of issues or crises.
• Project management: Manage communication projects from A to Z, monitor their
  effectiveness taking into account time and budget.

Your profile

• At least 5 years of experience in corporate communications in a global business
  context, preferably in a listed environment.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, with strong storytelling and copywriting skills for various
  audiences and channels
• Strategic thinker with a curious, hands-on and pro-active mindset
• Knowledge of (new) digital communication technologies and tools (eg. WordPress, Meltwater, AI, Adobe Creative, Canva, video editing) is a plus
